About us
Our vision is to make Domaine Du Lac des Loups more than just lodging accommodations; it is about offering a unique stay experience in a wildlife sanctuary of over 3,000 acres of forest. Visitors are invited to have an immersive experience in the forest environment. From its conception, the Domaine was designed to showcase the territory, the fauna and flora, and to support their conservation.
Since 2007, we have been working on the design and development of accommodation units with a unique architecture. We aim to preserve and highlight certain existing buildings, transforming some into observation points. We call on local suppliers and use materials from here, thus minimizing our environmental impact.
In summer, visitors can observe the flora and fauna by exploring our many walking and cycling trails. Marked trails have been developed for hiking and mountain biking, creating favorable conditions for wildlife observation while respecting the animals. In winter, chalets equipped with wood-burning stoves are an oasis of peace and relaxing comfort, far from the hustle and bustle of life.
We hope to offer the visitors the opportunity to explore our landscape composed of mountains, running streams, and several bodies of water spread across a mixed forest that changes with the seasons, and observe an animal population in its natural setting, some species of which are ground in the Canadian Conservation list and the Ministère de la Faune et des parcs du Québec.
